Calidus - US FAA Type Certification

Herzliche Glückwünsche

Congratulations to AG and AGUSA in obtaining US FAA Type Certification for the Calidus - the first gyrocopter to acheive US FAA TC since the 1960s.

This is from the AGUSA Facebook page

""Years of hard work and a supreme coordinated effort between AG Germany, the FAA and AG USA has been rewarded with the type certification of our stunning Calidus model.
The first two aircraft are now being readied for delivery to their proud new owners and with more already on order, this looks set to revolutionize the Gyro world.
Andy Wall, CEO praises the supreme effort of the whole team and thanks the FAA in particular for their consistent and professional approach. "The process was begun in 2012, over 4 years later we are now holding the future in our hands and this milestone represents just the beginning of a very exciting new era for AutoGyro"
"Tim, Bob, Terri, Mike, Jamie and the team started this process and together with Gerry Speich in the German factory and his team, they found a way, the FAA played their part too in what has been a dynamic and rigorous process."
AutoGyro really are making Gyroplanes great again!""
